Discharge Ink – Etching Print Technique

Discharge Ink is another water-based printing method that removes the original dye from the fabric, revealing the garment’s natural off-white tone in printed areas.

It can be lightly tinted with white pigment for a subtle off-white effect or colored with basic shades like red, green, and yellow. However, it does not support precise PANTONE matching.

⚠️ Limitations: Discharge printing does not work on Royal Blue or Burgundy Red fabrics due to dye chemistry.

🔹 Feels like fabric – The print is completely integrated into the textile.
🔹 Extremely soft – No additional ink layer on top.
🔹 Minimum order of 100 pcs – Due to the multi-step process.

Discharge printing is ideal for achieving a natural, ultra-soft, and high-quality finish on large production runs.
