Stanley/Stella is a Belgian clothing manufacturer founded in 2012, committed to permanently transforming the textile industry for the better. KH-Print shares the same values with Stanley/Stella by also pioneering responsible and ecological textile printing – being the first screen printing house in Finland to do so.

KH-Print Oy is Finland’s first Stanley/Stella Official Dealer.

KH-Print has over 30 years (est. 1992) of experience in printing and textiles. We’ve chosen Stanley/Stella as our main brand for responsibly made garments and textiles. We’ve been printing Stanley/Stella products since 2014.

After years of testing, we’ve concluded that Stanley/Stella garments provide the best possible print results. The products are exceptionally smooth and high-quality, which clearly shows in the print. All our printing methods are highly compatible with Stanley/Stella textiles.

We are a Finnish pioneer in WBI Water Based Ink screen printing. The WBI inks we use are GOTS-certified – just like Stanley/Stella textiles.

By finishing Stanley/Stella garments with KH-Print’s unique and responsible printing methods, you get products you can be 100% confident in when it comes to sustainability and certifications.  

With over 30 years of experience, we always choose the most suitable printing method for each design — one that is responsible, environmentally friendly, and long-lasting wash after wash.

We never recommend DTF (Direct To Film) transfers for responsibly made clothing.

DTF transfers have become today’s trend — they’re cheap and easy to produce in almost any facility. But the rise of DTF has also led to a situation where everyone with a printer claims to be a professional print house, even though DTF marking has nothing to do with real shirt printing. DTF offers a low-cost solution, but DTF inks are not GOTS-certified.

• Each DTF print results in plastic waste — a plastic sheet the size of the printed image, every time.

For example: 100 A4 heat-transferred prints produce 100 A4 sheets of plastic waste, which we don’t consider ecological or responsible.

• DTF also has poor wash durability compared to screen printing. This shortens the lifespan of a high-quality, responsibly made garment — and that doesn’t align with our values.

DTF transfer printing works by printing ink onto a plastic film with an inkjet printer, applying adhesive powder, and heat pressing it onto the product. In responsible screen printing, the ink is pressed into the fabric fibers — so you can guess which result is more durable and higher quality.

About GOTS Certification

All Stanley/Stella products are GOTS-certified.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the leading worldwide standard for organic fiber production. It’s the strictest certificate for organic cotton, based on both ecological and social criteria.

GOTS ensures that cotton is grown organically — without genetically modified seeds or harmful chemicals. It also guarantees traceability from harvesting to the end customer, including verified transaction certificates at every stage of production.

About FAIR WEAR Certification

The Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) is an independent organization working with clothing brands, textile workers, and industry stakeholders to improve working conditions in factories. FWF regularly audits our partner factories and, if needed, sets Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to ensure employee rights, safe working conditions, and fair pay.

Stanley/Stella has been a member of FWF since 2012. Like GOTS, Fair Wear is one of the most respected sustainability certifications in the textile industry.
